About the Author:
Alison Orchard Hammill - born in Devon, England, brought up/educated in Freetown, Sierra Leone; Accra in Ghana; Mufulira in Zambia and Devonshire in England. She has been, amongst other  things, a Nurse, Dental Assistant, Bookkeeper, Caretaker and has traversed the African Continent from London to Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in a 1956 Bedford Ambulance.  Loves driving her 1972 MK3 Leyland Mini (Molly). Inspired by her grandsons to write the Molly Mini Series. Mother of a son and daughter and grandmother to three boys. 
About the Illustrator:
Vanessa Land - grew up in the heart of Somerset, England. Attended Somerset College of Art and Technology and comes from an artistic background. Married in 1986 and has two children. Her hobbies are drawing, sketching and cooking.
