DETAILING THE STORY OF CYRIL KIEFT'S working life in the steel industry and how he came to build these racing cars. Sadly, Mr Kieft did not live to see the finished book. He died on 10 May 2004 aged 92 years.

From the author of the best selling Coventry Climax Racing Engines comes another story of the world of historic motor racing, the story of Kieft Cars. Des Hammill had many discussions with Cyril Kieft over a period of three years. As a result of his extensive research in conjunction with Brian V. M. Jenkins he has produced this works of Mr Kieft's working life. Foreword by Cyril Kieft

The book traces his working life and the history of these British Racing Cars. He started making MKI Kiefts (Formula III cars) and then the 'swing axle' Kieft Formula III cars at Bridgend in South Wales, followed by the 'central seater' sports cars, the AJB-Kieft, the two Formula One cars, the 1100 fibreglass sports cars and the Erwin Goldschmidt V8 sports car in Wolverhampton, England.
